The virtual-socially-distanced table.

In 2017, Caitlyn Edson, founded Tender Heart Supper Club, a zine about food and community. Before Covid-19 it was also an in person gathering.

Edson made changes in response to the pandemic, but is still dedicated to bringing people together to be tenderhearted through the zine. She encourages people to show up in their everyday life this way as well.

Even though we are socially distancing, Edson wants us to tune into how the people around us spend time in the kitchen and other intimate spaces. "The best way to stay tender hearted right now is to also stay really curious," she explained.

Bill Radke spoke with Caitlyn Edson, founder of the Tender Heart Supper Club about showing up tender hearted and "gathering" in a pandemic.
