Wolves have made a comeback, but will stay endangered in WA

Gray wolves in Washington will remain endangered. The state’s Fish & Wildlife Commission on Friday voted against downlisting wolves to either “threatened” or “sensitive.”

We talk with University of Washington ecologist Aaron Wirsing about what this means for their recovery, and why these apex predators are such an important species for Washington.
