It's always a momentous Friday when there are two press conferences happening at the same time. Today President Donald Trump announced that he was declaring the coronavirus outbreak a national emergency.

At almost the exact same time Governor Inslee announced that all Washington state schools would be closing for at least six weeks, and that gatherings of over 250 people are now banned statewide. What do these announcements mean for Washington State?

Also, what do these closures mean for our local economy? How is the legislature stepping in to help? And what assistance is available for homeless residents?

And on a non-coronavirus note - remember that primary we had on Tuesday? How did that turn out?
