How do you spice up your routine walk? Pretend to be a detective! Bill Radke spoke with Susanna Ryan, author of the Seattle Walk Report.

The neighborhood stroll might not be as majestic as a hike, but it can be it's own adventure.

Susanna Ryan, author of the "Seattle Walk Report," is taking shorter walks these days and creating illustrated reports of her neighborhood in the Central District.

From chalk art to stapled poetry on trees, Ryan says she's been finding all sorts of treats in her neighborhood.

"There's no end to the adventure on the sidewalk," she said.

Prior to the Stay Home order, Ryan would walk 20 miles around Seattle, but she's reveling in the little things, "it's definitely refocused my attention to be on the journey and not the destination" she said.
