When the Latino community learned that the CEO of Goya Foods praised President Trump and his leadership during the pandemic, to many it felt like a slap.

The company has been a mainstay in Latino kitchens since the 1930’s.

Eric Rivera owns Addo, the only Puerto Rican restaurant in the city.
