Cleaner power and greener buildings coming soon to Washington state

Our electricity in Washington state is pretty clean, but it’s slated to get 100 percent clean in coming years.

Gov. Jay Inslee is expected to sign that requirement into law shortly, along with others that would clean up buildings, appliances and refrigeration systems in Washington.

They're all part of the package of proposals Inslee has made to reduce the state's impact on the global climate.
