The University of Washington's Medical Center has opened a drive through testing center for the coronavirus. What does that mean for patients?

KUOW reporter John Ryan went to check out the new testing site, located in Northgate.

The drive through is open from 8am to 4pm, and will administer up to 50 tests a day. As of now it's only open to people with prior appointments, and only for UW Medical patients.

And unfortunately, like the archaic rulings of many a fast food chain, you can't walk through this drive through. It's for cars only.
