Kim Malcolm talks with reporter Asia Fields about her investigation into Washington State University's handling of sexual misconduct allegations.

In 2016, a Washington State University student was accused of sexual misconduct by multiple students. He was then allowed to transfer to another WSU campus, even though university officials were already investigating him.

Asia Fields is a reporter with Pro Publica, and until very recently she was with the Seattle Times, where she reported this story. She says this particular case reveals gaps in how colleges and universities respond to allegations of misconduct.
