Seattle Public Schools Levy vote on Feb. 12

Seattle voters are deciding on two education levies that will raise your taxes. Your ballot must be postmarked February 12, a week from today. Grabbing a carton of soy beverage at the store sounds… less than appealing, which is why many are advocating for plant-based dairy substitutes to be able to use the term “milk.” But that won’t happen if the dairy lobby can help it, says UW dietitian nutritionist Judy Simon .
