Seattle police are going back to arresting sex workers on Aurora Avenue. The police department had been moving away from that and arresting people who pay for sex. This week, an exchange at a city council meeting revealed what one police deputy thinks of sex workers.

Also, the city continues to grapple with what to do with low-level crime offenders who have substance use or mental health issues. Seattle City Council debated whether its current program — Law Enforcement Assisted Diversion, or LEAD — should have more funding.

Plus, Macy's announced it's closing its downtown store. Where will kids go to see Santa?

And former Minnesota Senator Al Franken will go on stage tonight, despite calls by King County Councilors for the Paramount Theatre to cancel the event. Were they putting too much pressure on the theater?

Finally, does a Philadelphia federal ruling mean Seattle could see a supervised injection site?
