One way or another, each of us is given a name at birth. What impact does that decision have on our life? Without our given name, might we be a different person?
This latest gathering of stories from the Storywallahs series considers the significance of how we come to and inhabit our names. The event was included in this year’s first annual Tasveer South Asian LitFest.
This Storywallahs event took place at Seattle’s Hugo House on January 12. Agastya Kohli served as moderator. KUOW’s Sonya Harris recorded the stories.
