Another sign that pandemic lockdowns are being loosened: Nordstrom is opening its doors.

The Seattle-based company is welcoming customers back with an adapted shopping experience.

On Thursday, Nordstrom stores in Bellevue and Lynnwood join more than 300 locations across North America that are already open, including Southcenter.

In downtown Seattle, only Nordstrom at Westlake Center will open. The company’s flagship store was damaged during the demonstrations that followed George Floyd’s killing.

Nordstrom has said it would reopen when it was allowed by government, when the company is prepared with the right measures to ensure safety for employees and customers. So, expect clean counters and employees in face masks.

Clothes that have been tried on won’t be immediately available for other customers to buy. And if you’ve been waiting to return something, there are now specific places for that. Follow the signs in the store.
