The Seattle City Council is going to look very different next year

On Wednesday, Seattle city councilmember Mike O'Brien announced that he won't seek re-election this fall. O'Brien is now the fourth incumbent to call it quits. He joins Rob Johnson, Sally Bagshaw, and Bruce Harrell in deciding not to run again.
This November, seven out of nine council seats are up for election.
