Allen Institute opens new division focused on immunology
The institute is being funded by a $125 million investment from the late billionaire philanthropist Paul Allen.
Bill Radke spoke to the new executive director of the Allen Institute of Immunology, Thomas Bumol. Bumol formerly worked as at the pharmaceutical company, Eli Lilly.

Paul Allen died this year of complications from non-Hodgkin lymphoma. Today, a new non-profit research undertaking was announced: the Allen Institute for Immunology. Tom Bumol is the institute’s new executive director.
