Kim Malcolm talks with journalist Leah Sottile about the numerous controversies involving Rep. Matt Shea (R-Spokane Valley).

Last week, several elected officials in Spokane called for Shea to step down from office.

A bipartisan group of state lawmakers has hired independent investigators to look into whether Shea has advocated political violence against any individuals or groups. Their initial findings are expected in September.

Sottile is host of the podcast Bundyville, which explores anti-government and right-wing extremism in the U.S.
