State lawmakers are considering a bill that would eliminate felony charges for teens who exchange nude images

Kim Malcolm talks with Crosscut's Melissa Santos about a bill in the Washington state legislature that would change the laws surrounding teen sexting.

House Bill 1742 aims to differentiate between teenagers and adults when it comes to prosecuting those who send or receive images of those under the age of 18. The bill passed the House on Monday, and now heads to the Senate.
