A family from Montreal set off on a world journey with their children after learning they have a rare genetic disease that will take their eyesight. They want their children to see as much as they can while they have the time. One child wants to watch a sunrise over mountains, and another wants to drink from a juice box while riding a camel.

Here & Now‘s Scott Tong talks with the parents, Edith Lemay and Sébastien Pelletier, who are featured in the new National Geographic documentary “Blink.”
