We’ve seen widespread ongoing threats of political violence against judges and election workers. We’ve seen outlandish rhetoric about immigrants eating pets lead to a spike in threats of violence in the community of Springfield, Ohio. We’ve heard former President Donald Trump lash out at his political opponents, calling them “enemies from within.”
