President Trump's former lawyer Rudy Giuliani will be the keynote speaker at a King County Republican Party fundraiser event in March.

The King County Republican Party's Lincoln Day Dinner and Auction is scheduled for 6 p.m. on March 25. It's location has yet to be announced. The event is also not announcing its sponsors until final invites have been sent out.

"It's gonna be a great, great evening, and it's going to be a great function for the entire Northwest," said Hossein Khorram, the finance chair for the King County Republican Party.

Khorram has been a consistent Trump supporter in King County. In 2016, when some members of Washington's Republican Party opted not to attend Trump's local events, Khorram wasn't among them.

He says King County's GOP is also planning to take Giuliani on a tour of Black Lives Matter protest sites in Seattle while he is in town.

Admission to the fundraiser is $150 per person, and $250 per person for a VIP reception and photo op. The event is also selling higher tiered tickets, going as high as $10,000 to be a platinum sponsor.

Giuliani has helped lead Trump's effort to overturn the results of the 2020 election. Just 8% of Seattle voters supported President Trump in 2020.
