Reporter describes interviewing Ryan Routh, suspect in Trump assassination attempt

Police arrested Ryan Wesley Routh Sunday after Routh apparently tried to assassinate former President Donald Trump. Routh worked in construction and also volunteered to help in the Ukraine war effort.

Here & Now‘s Deepa Fernandes speaks with Thomas Gibbons-Neff, national correspondent for the New York Times. He interviewed with Routh last year about his efforts in Ukraine.
