Here & Now host David Folkenflik speaks with “Road to Rickwood” podcast senior producer Ben Dickstein about the importance of Rickwood Field in Birmingham, Alabama, the oldest surviving professional ballpark in the country, where some of baseball’s greatest from the Negro Leagues and beyond played. Thursday night the first-ever regular-season MLB game will be played there, in commemoration.
