Pittsburgh's museums are unionizing: One worker's experience

Unions are growing in popularity and could play a crucial role in the election in Pennsylvania. Over the past few years, Pittsburgh has been at the center of an effort to unionize museum workers.

In May of 2023, more than 500 employees at the Carnegie Museum of Natural History and three other Carnegie museums became official members of the United Steel Workers union, which represents workers from a variety of industries.

We hear from Jenise Brown, an educator at the Carnegie Museum of Natural History in Pittsburgh and president of the local United Museum Workers.
