Mindy Nettifee's new book of poetry is called "Open Your Mouth Like A Bell."
We hear from the mother of a Portland man who recently had a mental health crisis, and talk with the executive director of the Oregon chapter of the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI), Chris Bouneff and Multnomah County Commissioner Sharon Meieran about how that story illustrates problems with the mental health system at large.
