Life in prison for Carnation woman in 2007 Christmas Eve murder case

The woman convicted of killing six family members in Carnation on Christmas Eve 2007 will spend the rest of her life in prison.

King County Superior Court Judge Jefferey Ramsdell read Michele Anderson's sentence Thursday.

Ramsdell: "Ms. Anderson, pursuant to your convictions, the law mandates that I impose six consecutive sentences of life imprisonment without the possibility of release parole... on each count as well.”

Anderson was present for the sentencing as were friends of the victims.

Court documents show Anderson and her ex-boyfriend Joseph McEnroe told detectives they armed themselves and went to her parents’ home.

Anderson and McEnroe are convicted of killing two children and four adults, including Anderson's parents.

McEnroe was also sentenced to life in prison.

Both have said they will appeal their convictions.
