Journalist who covered Columbia University protests reflects on president’s resignation
Students at Columbia University will be starting the new school year with new leadership after the school’s president Nemat Shafik resigned Wednesday. She’s the third Ivy League president to leave her job after facing intense criticism over her handling of pro-Palestinian protests on campus in the spring.
