Reporter Ronan Farrow provides a closer look into the harrowing experience of investigating cover-ups.

Farrow is best known for his reporting on sexual assaults by film producer Harvey Weinstein, for which he won the 2018 Pulitzer Prize for Public Service.

In this talk, Farrow discusses with a Seattle audience the circumstances and timing that allowed him to break the story. He also mentions the not-so-'bright line' between journalism and activism.

Farrow is a contributing writer at The New Yorker and author of "War on Peace: The End of Diplomacy and the Decline of American Influence".

This event was part of the UW Graduate School BUNK series: talks that address what it means to be informed and understanding the history of misinformation. Farrow spoke with Megan Ming Francis, an associate professor of political science at the University of Washington.

It took place October 2 in UW's Kane Hall.
