Safe for pregnant women to smoke pot? UW researchers hope to find out

Kim Malcolm talks with Dr. Natalia Kleinhans about a new study that will research the effects of marijuana on the brain development of infants.

Kleinhans is an associate professor of radiology at the University of Washington School of Medicine.

She says the study is recruiting a specific group of pregnant women who are experiencing morning sickness and have decided to use marijuana to manage their symptoms.
