Hurricane Helene expected to get stronger before making landfall
Forecasters expect Hurricane Helene to get much stronger before it makes landfall on the Florida coast sometime Thursday night as a category three storm. A storm surge as high as 20 feet could flood inland. The National Hurricane Center calls this surge “unsurvivable.”
