Fed expected to cut interest rates
The U.S. Federal Reserve is expected to cut interest rates next week for the first time in more than four years. With inflation coming down, mortgage rates are also falling, cutting the cost of borrowing for consumers. Europe’s Central Bank has cut interest rates twice in the past three months as inflation dropped there.
