This past weekend, students in hundreds of cities and towns around the country joined in March For Our Lives  "sibling marches." Before the March For Our Lives Seattle event, students and supporters gathered to hear speeches.

Items on the rally agenda included universal background checks on all gun sales, a ban on the sale of high-capacity magazines, raising the federal age of gun ownership and possession to the age of 21, closing the gun show loophole, and a restoration of the 1994 Federal Assault Weapons Ban.

Speakers included the organizers, invited guests, Washington state Attorney General Bob Ferguson and U. S. Senator Maria Cantwell. This event took place at Seattle’s Cal Anderson Park on Saturday, March 24.
