Ancient canoes discovered in Wisconsin lake

Archaeologists in Wisconsin have unearthed an ancient mystery at the bottom of Madison’s Lake Mendota. They found 11 canoes that Indigenous people dug out of oak, ash and other trees hundreds or thousands of years ago. At least one canoe is 4,500 years old.
