The U.S. Chess Championships are underway at the St. Louis Chess Club in Missouri — home to the World Chess Hall of Fame.

Among those competing is 15-year-old International Master Alice Lee, the back-to-back reigning U.S. Girls Junior Champion and a three-time gold medalist at the World Youth Championships. Lee joins Deepa Fernandes to discuss her hopes for the tournament and how she got so good at chess.
