KUOW airing ‘America on the Line’ for additional election coverage

To help prepare you for the 2018 midterms, KUOW is broadcasting WNYC’s America on the Line Monday - Thursday at 9 p.m. (through November 8). KUOW will also be airing the NPR Politics Show Fridays at 9 p.m. (through November 9).

America on the Line gives audiences a live sounding board on the state of our nation as we head into the midterm elections. Hosted by Pulitzer Prize winning journalist Jonathan Capehart, the program’s mission is to delve into the issues and attitudes that matter most to our listeners in every region of the country.

In addition to covering the news of the day, each episode focuses on a key political match-up or an issue that is especially important to some groups of voters. We hear from candidates, strategists, analysts and, most important, the voters themselves, who will call in to express their opinions, ask questions and engage with other listeners.
