Steve Alexander

Steve Alexander leads KUOW’s philanthropy team, generating financial support from individuals, institutions and estates. He joined KUOW in 2021 with 20 years’ experience in non-profit leadership, marketing and fundraising.

Throughout his career Steve has helped organizations realize their fundraising potential by leveraging human-centered thinking to positively impact donor engagement and loyalty. Prior to coming to KUOW, Steve worked at the UN Refugee Agency, Doctors Without Borders, and built his consulting outfit, Alexander Strategies, which provided support to charities looking to enrich in their fundraising programs.
