About
Kevin Kniestedt is the producer of Week in Review and an announcer. You can catch him on the air from 7 to 11 AM on the weekend. Prior to joining KUOW in 2021, he spent 17 years as a host and producer at KNKX in Seattle, as well as a year as the local Morning Edition host at WFAE in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Outside of work, Kevin enjoys camping, tennis, independent film, and a good neighborhood bar.

New documentary follows the journey of migrants to Seattle
A new documentary about migrants in Seattle is screening at the Seattle International Film Festival this weekend. All We Carry chronicles a family escaping from Honduras. They end up being cared for by members of a Seattle synagogue. The film follows the journey of a young couple, Magdiel and Mirna, and their son Joshua, who are fleeing persecution from narcotraffickers.
