Seattle mayor Jenny Durkan’s first week in office saw housing help for low-income families, a study of the city’s Race and Social Justice Initiative and a proposal for two years of free community college tuition for public high school graduates. We’ll look ahead to the challenges to come.

Also this week, more men were accused of sexual harassment, including sexual assault. Media figures Matt Lauer and Garrison Keillor – fired. Politicians John Conyers, Al Franken and Roy Moore – still in office, or leading in the polls. Should public servants be kicked out just as fast as anyone else?

We talk over those stories and more with Civic Cocktail's Joni Balter, Erica C. Barnett of The C is For Crank and former Seattle mayor and three-term city councilmember Tim Burgess.
