Matt Albertson

Matt Albertson leads KUOW's Philanthropy team. He joined KUOW in 2007 after beginning his nonprofit development career at the American Red Cross. Matt graduated from the University of Washington with an Interdisciplinary Policy Degree focused on applying social science theories to real-world concerns in the public, private, and nonprofit sectors. He maintains that the most effective way to create positive social change is by ensuring that nonprofits have the resources needed to pursue their missions. He enjoys working with KUOW’s donors to match their philanthropic goals with KUOW’s strategic priorities and enabling his team to do the same.

Matt is a graduate of Leadership Tomorrow and has served on the Boards of the Bothell Parks Foundation and Seattle Rotary Service Foundation.
