His new book, "King of Spies," chronicles the life of U.S. intelligence agent Donald Nichols during the Korean War and shows how the Korean War shaped modern relations between the U.S. and North Korea.
Journalist Hal Herring used to work in the woods. He spent years working on tree planting, forest thinning, and doing other jobs with crews hired to work in federal forests.
