Seattle Celebrates Seahawks’ Super Bowl Victory

A sea of fans flooded downtown Seattle on Wednesday as the Seahawks Super Bowl victory parade crawled its way from Seattle Center to CenturyLink Field.
As the ever-loyal 12th Man braved frosty temperatures, many opted to skip school or work to celebrate the team’s first Super Bowl victory. Seattle Public Schools reported that nearly 14,000 students were absent Wednesday — nearly five times the number from the day before.
