Thirty-odd years ago Dr. Arne Rubinstein was a teenaged Australian embracing some risky behavior. Later on, he worked in emergency rooms where he saw more than enough of what happens when teenagers take risks.
Through an organization he founded, The Making of Men, Rubinstein is now focused on helping young people become adults in safe and healthy ways. Rubinstein spoke at Seattle University’s Pigott Auditorium on April 19. The event was hosted by the Vashon Island-based organization Journeymen. Founders Nicky Wilks and Alex Craighead introduced the talk.
