'When sh*t hits the fan go dancing' (Election night in Seattle)

There are two types of people in the country on Election Night:

The people like you, at home, curled into an anxious heap, rising every five minutes to refresh the New York Times homepage. (You can also refresh our maps for local results.)

And there are people like Momo Nikaido, 33, of Bellevue, who headed to Capitol Hill to soothe those nerves.

KUOW reporters and producers are out tonight as well – at a knitting store in Greenwood, at the Hyatt ballroom in Bellevue, and at candidate parties everywhere. (Pramila Jayapal, vying for the 7th Congressional District, is at Optimism Brewing Company.)

Also, Marcie Sillman will be on Facebook Live when the ball drops, perhaps at 8:01 p.m.
