  • Announcer

    We have an outstanding opportunity for an Announcer (20 hours per week) to perform all aspects of live and automated daily board shift including board operation and announcing; serve as primary announcer and board operator for assigned shift which will include weekend afternoon and evenings and producing recorded breaks for weekend nights; provide primary voice and production of underwriting spots, as assigned; produce, plan, write, edit and voice breaks both live and automated during shift; monitor system and KUOW communications and news wire to provide programming updates.   • Campaign Strategy Manager

    KUOW has an exciting opportunity for a Campaign Strategy Manager to develop multi-channel holistic fundraising campaigns across the organization – finding better ways to engage existing and new donors and making KUOW an organization more donors love. The ideal candidate for this position is an excellent strategist, writer and communicator who can wear many hats to strategize and collaborate with diverse teams and is highly comfortable with digital fundraising and marketing tools. This position will lead fundraising projects with various teams and develop fundraising content for a wide variety of campaigns including: on-air, digital,, social media, email fundraising, KUOW email newsletters, some marketing campaigns and major donor appeals, and much, much more.   • Finance Program Administrator

    KUOW has an opportunity for a Finance Program Administrator to help develop policies on hiring practices, report on staffing, supervise the payroll function and manage and track data reporting related to staffing, internal and external diversity reporting, compliance reporting and open positions tracking. The ideal candidate will be comfortable within a financial department, working with managers and staff from other departments and generally enjoy being part of a collaborative unit in a public radio environment.   • Education Reporter

    KUOW is seeking an experienced reporter to cover stories about education in the Puget Sound region, ranging from K-12 through college. The Education Reporter (Reporter 1) will dive deep into issues that influence education equity, funding, policy, student outcomes and educator workforce/labor issues. They will spend time in the community to find trends, enterprise stories and diverse perspectives. The reporter will work with their editor to determine coverage approaches and priorities, with ongoing attention to systemic issues that contribute to the quality and inequity in our schools. A sample of topics for the upcoming year could include teacher shortages and burnout, school safety, disciplinary policies, student mental health, intersections with politics (critical race theory, book bans, transgender athletes), and new models for school and learning post-pandemic.   • Marketing Project Manager

    KUOW has an outstanding opportunity for a Marketing Project Manager reporting to the (Interim) Chief Marketing Officer. The Project Manager has responsibility for coordinating and advancing station-wide initiatives and marketing campaigns. They will define business requirements, establish SMART goals, identify KPIs, analyze data, document decisions and workflows, manage calendars and budgets to ensure projects are launched on time and on-budget. Projects may include technology infrastructure refreshes/changes; data and reporting infrastructure development; new program launches; marketing campaigns and events; vendor management; and business process analysis/improvements.
