Norwegian Sandwiches (Norway) All sandwiches have a French bread as the base. The crusts are not removed. This allows the sandwich to remain firm after preparation. 1. Rullepolsa with Lettuce Sandwich Ingredients: Rullepolsa Lettuce Toppings of choice* *suggested toppings: Sour pickles, cooked and sliced carrots or parsley 2. Anchovies with Eggs Sandwich Ingredients: Hardboiled eggs Anchovies Salt and pepper Sprig of parsley, if desired Arrange egg slices, placing anchovy strips or herring bits on egg. Parsley can be added. 3. Smoked Salmon with Scrambled Eggs Sandwich Ingredients: Smoked salmon Lettuce Scrambled eggs with chives Parsley The ingredients are layered on top of the bread. The lettuce is placed on the bread. Then the scrambled eggs, with chives, is placed on the lettuce with the smoked salmon placed on the scrambled eggs. Parsley is then added as the top layer. 4. Gouda Cheese Sandwich Ingredients: Gouda cheese, sliced Gouda cheese, graded Lettuce Caviar The ingredients are layered on top of the bread.
