The Iranian election results spurred massive protests last month. Millions of people flooded the streets of Tehran. Many were arrested. The world watched their protests on YouTube and Twitter. Now, the results of the election have been certified by Iran's supreme leader and President Ahmadinejad is preparing for U.S. and NATO negotiations. How is the Iranian population feeling now? Do they accept the legitimacy of the government? What happened to the people who were arrested? Today on "Weekday," the aftermath of the Iranian elections.

Borzou Daragahi is the Middle East correspondent for the Los Angeles Times. He was last in Iran in late June. He joins us from France.

Clark Lombardi is an associate professor of Law at the University of Washington. His specialty is Islamic law, primarily in Afghanistan and Iraq.

Arang Keshavarzian is an associate professor in the Department of Middle Eastern and Islamic Studies at New York University. He was in Iran following the elections this summer. He serves on the Editorial Committee of the Middle East Research and Information Project, where he helped edit the Spring 2009 special issue on "The Iranian Revolution at 30."
