Feminism Across the Generations: A Conversation with Gloria Steinem and Amy Richards
07/09/2009 at 10:00 a.m.
Feminist icon Gloria Steinem turned 75 this year, but she has no thought of retiring now. There is still too much to accomplish. "We've demonstrated that women can do what men do, but not yet that men can do what women do," she said in March. "The truth is that women can't be equal outside the home until men are equal in it." So, what steps need to be taken? Also, how are generations of young women being educated about feminism? Are they active in the movement? What issues will be theirs to tackle?Related Event
