Today the Seattle City Council votes on new incentives to get builders to include affordable housing in their plans. Developers and affordable housing advocates are leery of the idea. Plus, housing prices are falling because of the financial crisis. Are you finding apartments and houses more affordable? How is the cost of housing affecting you?
Homeless in the Big Freeze
How are those without permanent shelter faring in the cold weather? Are the tents and sleeping bags in tent cities adequate for these frigid temperatures? We'll find out what emergency shelter is available.
Peace Corps in China
The Peace Corps is recruiting volunteers for China. Who are they looking for? Why are they there? We'll speak to the Peace Corps director for China.
