The declining reading habits of Americans were highlighted in a report from the National Endowment for the Arts last week. The chairman of the endowment described the findings as "simple, consistent and alarming." People just aren't reading for fun anymore. But we don't have to stand for it! Holiday gifts need to be purchased! Why not choose a riveting book rather than a DVD? Nancy Pearl is here with her suggestions. We want to hear yours too.
