At 2:08 p.m. - Charles Potts
For more than 40 years, Walla Walla-based poet Charles Potts has written and published poetry that questions the established order. Today, literary producer Elizabeth Austen shares two poems from Potts that show how fatherhood changed this "quintessential hippie American poet".
Charles Potts' most recent books are The Portable Potts (West End Press) and Kiot: Selected Early Poems 1963 – 1977 (Blue Begonia Press). He has published more than 30 volumes. His reading was recorded as part of the 2007 Jack Straw Writers series, curated by Matt Briggs.
