Daniel Schorr

NPR's Senior News analyst Daniel Schorr is going strong into his 9th decade. He has been covering news since the end of World War 2. He joined CBS in 1953, hired by Edward R. Murrow. Schorr has reported on the Marshall Plan, the creation of NATO, the Cold War, the McCarthy era, the Kennedy presidency, the Vietnam War, the Nixon years. Sometimes Schorr became the story. He ended up on President Nixon's enemies list and was threatened with jail for reporting on a suppressed House Intelligence Investigating Committee report in 1976. He joins us in our studios to talk about his work.Guests:
