What Will Marshawn Lynch Say Next?

Marshawn Lynch recently trademarked the phrase, "I’m just here so I won't get fined."";

It started with an explanation on Super Bowl Media Day when Seattle Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch was forced to face the press.

Lynch: “Hey, I’m just here so I don’t get fined. So y’all can sit here and ask me all the questions ya’ll want to. I’m gonna answer with the same answer. So, ya’ll can shoot if ya’ll please.”

It was a statement he repeated numerous times, much to the frustration, and eventual delight of reporters:

"I’m just here so I won’t get fined."

And now Marshawn has been granted a trademark for his famous quote by the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. He's using it on T-shirts, hats and other items produced by his apparel company.

This is the fourth trademark granted Lynch. One of the others: the phrase "beast mode." He was granted that trademark in 2009.

Lynch has spent much of this football season with injuries. Coach Pete Carroll confirms the running back will not be able to play this Sunday, when the Seahawks play the Arizona Cardinals in the last game of the regular season. But it's possible he could be able take the field in time for the playoffs.
